The General Overseer Worldwide of the Redeemed Christian Church of God Worldwide, Pastor Enoch Adeboye has declared that terrorism will come to an end in Nigeria very soon. Speaking at the monthly Holy Ghost Service held at the Redemption Camp Grounds last night, Adeboye stated that every problem has an expiry date ordained by God. The RCCG leader likened terrorism to a siege that will break, just like every force laying siege on the lives of individuals who belong to God will collapse as ordered by the Lord. He prayed that every siege mounted by evil forces standing in the way of children of God will be destroyed and defeated by God to allow those who belong to Him reach their places of destiny. Pastor Adeboye stressed the importance of application of faith in the lives of people who require divine intervention in matters confronting humanity for God to be able to move swiftly to answer prayers. He noted that the Lord is not an ex-Champion and so is able to prove Himself as the most sufficient who could do anything at anytime. He prayed that every plant that is not planted in the lives of His people would be destroyed by Almighty God. He encouraged Nigerians to pray harder for God to heal Nigeria and intervene supernaturally in the affairs of Nigeria. Recalling his experience when Coronavirus emerged, he found it difficult, for the first time in 40 years to pay the salaries of about ten thousand workers of the RCCG. But the God who provided five thousand naira when the church was needy 40 years ago also saved RCCG from financial embarrassment. He specifically referred to Habakkuk 2:4 which states that: ‘’ Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.’’ He said God, as the Eternal Reigning Champion, has no beginning and no ending, and quoted from the Book of Isaiah that reads: “Say ye to the righteous that it shall be well with them, For they shall eat the fruit of their doings. Woe to the wicked! It shall be ill with him,For the reward of his hands shall be given him.’’ Adeboye led the congregation to pray for repentance and thank God as evidence of faith that terrorism shall be over very soon.
