In the days of Prophet Isaiah, God’s people became prosperous, arrogant, and self-sufficient.  They engaged in sinful conducts. They professed to worship God, but not in righteousness. They were stiff-necked and disobedient. Isaiah faithfully called them to repentance and warned them of their coming captivity in Babylon. The message: “Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: I am the Lord your God, who teaches you for your profit, who leads you in the way you should go. Oh, that you had listened to my commandments; then your peace would be like a river and your righteousness like the waves of the sea.”- Isaiah 48:17-18. Picture of disturbance, picture of trouble, picture of everything unpleasant; But when you hear the word peace, you have a picture going through your mind;Everything pleasant, everything restful, everything harmonious, that is the picture you get. So, storm stands for; trouble, unpleasant things, lack of rest.Peace stands for; harmony, rest, everything pleasant.Which is why Jesus Christ was called the Prince of…
