Spread the love

WHEN GOD CALLS YOU It is important to realize that God calls people for various reasons. Writing in the publication: ‘Great Britain Has Fallen’, Rev. Wale Babatunde, the senior pastor of the World Harvest Christian Centre, London asserts that “when God calls a person, it is such a great privilege! However, with every privilege goes a great responsibility! And this demands great humility! When God elects or appoints a person to carry out a special assignment, it is not because he or she is intrinsically better than those that are called to serve! For example, when God called Israel into a special covenant relationship to be a kingdom of priests, (Exodus 19:6) He was quick to warn them that He did this not because they were better than other nations. Apostle Paul, in one of his writings spoke about the end time as “this know also, that in the last days, perilous times shall come; for men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, truce-breakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good; traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasures, more than lovers of God.  Having a form of Godliness; but denying the power thereof; from such turn away”16. Developments cited earlier, and similar occurrences over time, especially the recent past, indicate…
